Gunnar Nylund Flambé Jug for Rörstrand

Gunnar Nylund created the flambé series for Rörstrand Sweden in 1932. The collection features urns, vessels, and bowls with mythological imagery, neoclassical, and art deco motifs  This jug comes from the estate of a Massachusets Professor and is a wonderful example of the art deco-influenced work created by Nylund. The flambé jug is in excellent condition and measures 8" in height and 5" in diameter.
