La Verre Francais

A cut glass vase by La Verre Francais circa 1920, in the rose pattern. The work of Charles Schneider, the maitre verrier of La Verre Francais, reminds me of Aubrey Beardsley. There is something a bit edgier compared to other cameo glass of the period. The colors are also very bold.
