Larry Mohr Toy Giraffe A/P
Larry Mohr (1921-2013) created sculptures in metal, with long angular shapes intersecting, or a grouping of small shapes connected with bolts allowing for a rhythmic repetition and rounded forms. His work is in several prominent private and public collections, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This small, yet substantial, sculpture is made of bronze. Using the bolt connections, he creates a form of an animal. The piece is inscribed with Toy Giraffe A/P 11/3/91.
