Work Stand Circa 1940 by Embru Werke
This is a beautifully engineered work stand circa 1936 by Embru Werke. Embru Werke made tubular metal furniture and collaborated with architects to produced some of the 20th centuries most iconic pieces of modern furniture with Marcel Breuer, Le Corbusier, Thonet, and Eileen Gray.
The top rectangular tier (20 1/4 x 16 1/4") over the lower one (10 1/2 x 10 1/2") that tilts and swivels outward. Both with carved edges. The adjustable brown painted metal stand on a four legged base. With the Embru Brevet label on the support.
