Ancient Egyptian Bronze Osiris Ex-Museum
This Egyptian statuette represents one of the most important divinities in Egyptian culture - Osiris, God of the Underworld. Osiris is depicted wearing the Atef crown, which combined the white crown of Upper Egypt with the red headdress and feathers of Lower Egypt.
Mounted onto a fabric-covered board, the statuette measures 4 inches tall and was part of the collection of the Newark Museum of Art, acquired in 1929.
